Horizontal spacing syntax in latex
16 Nov 2021I typically use \quad
to get more space in latex, and knew there were other space commands to use in-text, but had never remembered them past one use. Well, Andy Roberts has a neat 3-page guide, Horizontal spacing in maths.
In particular, spaces all smaller than a quad are:
\,
is a small space,
\:
a medium space,
\;
a large space, and
\!
a negative space,
but for full details check the doc from Andy Roberts.
